Chocolate Chip Cookies

I just made these super soft, classic chocolate chip cookies for my friend Jayne’s coming home BBQ! They were a real hit, and super easy to make. Give them a shot!

I also made a garden salad, with Kale, romaine, beet greens, chives, almonds, quinoa, cranberries and goat cheese for a healthy balance 😉

Ingredients:

1 cup salted butter

1 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup white sugar

2 eggs

1 tbsp vanilla

2 tsp baking soda

2 tsp cinnamon

2 tsp salt

2 1/2 cups flour

1 cup pecans, or any nuts

1 cup (or more!) chocolate chips

1.) Preheat oven to 350. Combine softened butter, and sugar, until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla.

2.) Add flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.

3.) Add chocolate chips and nuts. Roll into balls and place a couple inches away from each other on a baking sheet lined with parchment.

4.) Bake for 10-12 mins until slightly brown!

Enjoy!
